the drummer girl
Introducing the newest member of STOMP. Specialty, pots and rice spatula. At 13 months, Makayla has found a way to make music (or loud sounds) with whatever she can find. This is a percussion piece with some vocals. Enjoy!

Whoa! She is walking? When did this happen?!
@Bao - not quite walking yet...just cruising, notice she's always leaning on something whether with her hands or big tummy. She can stand on her own for about 10-15 seconds though. We are eagerly waiting for that first step on her own.
I wish I could have captured video right at the moment when Mak discovered that she could make a glorious sound by banging on the pot with the rice spatula. Her eyes lit up for for a split-second and I could almost hear the "ding!"
Also, you can't really see it clearly, since the video is kind of dark, but she totally had a bed-head, rocker chick faux-hawk going on too.
